CRIME update for June 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Leen Police beat area during the month of June.
Burglary residential = 0 Criminal damage = 3 Between 01/06 and 04/06 Deakins Place – Vehicle window smashed. 05/06 Glentworth Road – Between 3am and 6am, vehicle nearside passenger side window smashed, nothing reported stolen. 23/06 Grimston Road – 2x vehicle damaged, have scratches and one has a pin in the tyre.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 04/06 Castle Retail Park – Group of 3 on motorbike attempting to steak moped from car park.
Theft from vehicle = 5 01/06 New Road – Vehicle left secure and unattended on public road overnight, following morning found rear passenger side door window smashed by unknown means, items moved around however nothing reported stolen. 07/06 Deakins Place – Entry gained to vehicle by smashing the nearside front window, small brown faux leather shoulder bag containing passport stolen from within the vehicle. 15/06 Ilkeston Road – Vehicle broken into and items stolen from within. 17/06 Grimston Road – Suspect recorded on CCTV taking items from vehicle. 18/06 Fleet Close – Approximately 4am, vehicle broken into, perfume and earphones stolen.
